Louboutin’s UK Retrospective

French shoe designer Christian Louboutin – almost as infamous for his non-existent approach to advertising as for his iconic red soles – will celebrate 20 years in the business this spring with his first UK retrospective.

The London exhibition, with accompanying book, will offer an in-depth peak into Christian Louboutin’s design process from start to finish. Visitors will get a glimpse into everything from the studded high-top trainers to fetish collections, as well as offering an insight into the architecture, art, film, and travel that has influenced his internationally coveted designs. The exhibition will also offer a tour of the brand’s unique approach to sales, marketing, and store design.

Christian Louboutin, the book, debuts this October, while the exhibition begins on March 28 2012 at the London Design Museum.
