Larkbeck Furniture Collection

The Larkbeck furniture collection is a collaboration between London-based furniture makers Rafe Mullarkey and Laszlo Beckett, who fuse traditional cabinet-making techniques with modern technology.

Beckett’s Sakura cabinet takes inspiration from geometric patterns on Japanese textiles and reimagines them as decorative three-dimensional panels with the appearance of pixelated cherry blossom. Variations on this design are also available as a desk and table.

Mullarkey’s Linden Credenza design has a completely different style, but is based on similar ideas. Made from Austrian Lime, the sideboard has a clean and modern aesthetic. The machine-shaped doors add depth and geometric detailing to the simple design.

All the pieces in the collection are limited edition and will be officially released by the duo at the London Design Festival in September this year.
