Snowdon Blue

Stockholm-based ready-to-wear and denim brand Acne is launching its first book, celebrating the work of British photographer Lord Snowdon. Snowdon Blue features 60 portraits of famous faces including English singer David Bowie, British actor Jeremy Irons and Spanish shoe designer Manolo Blahnik, all of whom are wearing blue shirts – one of the photographer’s favourite looks.

The book launch will be accompanied by a touring exhibition of the featured portraits in Acne stores in London (on show until May 13), Stockholm and Paris. In conjunction, Acne has also created a collection of eight limited edition blue shirts. Intended to be unisex, they range from classic pale blue cotton poplin to dark-wash denim and chambray.

There are also five limited edition signed Snowdon prints for sale to celebrate the title's release. They feature French singer Serge Gainsbourg, British crime writer Agatha Christie, German painter Georg Baselitz, English actor Ian McKellan, and Swedish model Britt Ekland.

All items are available to buy from Acne Stores now.
